To assure the inclusivity and diversity of our congregational leadership, the Nominations Committee seeks your voice in our 2014 Nominations Process. Criteria for a GHUUM church leader or committee member is located in our Leadership/Committee covenants available in the church office and on our website under church leadership. If you discern God's voice calling you to serve in a ministry/committee of Good Hope Union UMC, please contact the church office (301-879-8100) or email secretaryghu@goodhopeunion.org with the following information: Name, contact information, ministry of interest, and any other pertinent information that you would like to share. An informational session will be held immediately after church on June 2, 2013 in the Media Center for all interested persons. All submissions must be received by June 30, 2013 and selected persons will be notified via telephone/email by July 31, 2013.

Let's Get Moving Together!!  Join us on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm for a fitness workout with Personal Trainer Harry Tarrain!  The cost is $5.00 per session. Come with your sweats on and a mat (or we will provide a mat for you).  Regardless of your age or fitness ability, you will enjoy a workout tailored to your level of readiness, great music, and folks who are ready to laugh and move with you! Colesville Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals in the North-Eastern Silver Spring area to those who, due to an ailment are unable to cook. Anyone who has some spare time and would like to help our fellow citizens, please call Mrs. Day at 301-384-5735. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
